A very successful dance was held in the Lifford Hall, on Thursday, in aid of the local Boy Scouts. In addition to being a very enjoyable affair it was also a huge success financially, the Boy Scouts’ Fund benefitting by an amount of no less than £31. The music was provided by Messrs. F. Stokes and Rock. Messrs. W. Hunt and P.M. Morris being M.C.s. During the evening the Scoutmaster, Mr. T.D. Johnston, in a few words, thanked all those who had helped the movement, either by assisting at the refreshment stall or by their presence at the dance.
