The annual treat to the children attending the Church Sunday Schools took place in the National Schoolroom on Friday evening last. The children were regaled with a good tea, after which the room was cleared and a very pleasant evening was spent in games and other amusement, the proceedings terminating at about 8 o’clock with cheers for the vicar and Mrs Morgan. Amongst those who assisted at the tea and helped to amuse the juveniles afterwards was Viscountess Lifford, the Reverend S. and Mrs. Morgan, Miss Caffin, Miss Bedford, Mr H.T. Morgan, Mr. A. Wylde Brown, Miss Foss, Miss G. Phillipps, Miss Clements, Miss Hunt, Mr and Mrs Timms, Messrs. M. Biles and G.Hunt. Lord Lifford and the Reverend C.O. Bartlett (Rector of Willersey) were also present at the tea. On dispersing each child was presented with an orange and piece of cake.
