Fire at Peasebrook Farm, 1906

Two ricks on fire at Peasebrook Grounds. The ricks belonged to Mr. R. Hill of the Trumpet Inn. The Fire Brigade were unable to contain the fire owing to a lack of water.

P.C. Phillips ‘slipped’ on arrival at the fire and dislocated his shoulder. Drs Beadle and Standring attended him
