Old Folks Party in the Lifford Hall

Over 100 guests attended a party for the Old Folks in the Lifford Memorial Hall. The meal was organised by Mrs Knott and Mrs Acton. A play was presented by junior scholars of St Mary’s School “Christmas Pudding”. Another play by the Broadway Cubs “The Pirates” and the Women’s Institute Choir performed under Miss Tilley with songs by A.B. Williams and F. Pendrey. Dr W.G. Alexander presided.
