These annual services were celebrated in due and gorgeous form in St Saviour’s Church, Broadway, on Thursday last. The altar was most elaborately decorated with choice of flowers, and when the whole of the candles were lighted an effect, grandly impressive was produced by harmonised colours of the whole of the decorative embellishments. Morning Service, which consisted of solemn High Mass, was celebrated at 11 o’clock when Weber’s Grand Mass in E Flat was sung by the choir of St. Gregory’s Church, Cheltenham. The evening service commenced at seven o’clock when the chapel was filled again.
