Welcome to the website of the Broadway History Society where we invite you to enjoy our collection of photos, memories and historical research about the people and places that make up the village of Broadway in Worcestershire.
Cancellation of Meeting on Monday 19th September 2022
As a mark of respect, following the sad passing of Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II, Broadway History Society will not be going ahead with our meeting on Monday 19th September, the day of her funeral. Robin Jackson’s talk that was due to take place that evening has been rearranged for Monday 18th September 2023.
Next Meeting: Monday 17th October 2022
The next meeting of the Broadway History Society will be at 7pm on Monday 17th October in the Lifford Memorial Hall with a talk by Committee Member, Robin Woolven, entitled Agriculture in Wartime Broadway – the 1941 National Farm Survey Returns on Broadway’s Farms and Holdings.
